Why running a business? As different the people are, as different are the reasons to start a business.

I believe that there are a few things you need to have to run a successful business. These few things (which are important in my opinion) formed the name of this start up help service and are a type of a promise to you.

So what does V.O.I.C.E. mean?

Frankly it’s quite simple. V.O.I.C.E. is a result of five facts you need to have and combining them leads to your own voice. Let me explain what I mean:

V = Vision

Can you imagine what your life will be like in 5, 10 or 20 years from now? Do you see in what type of house you’re living, what car you’re driving and with whom you’re surrounding yourself? If you can see this huge picture, then you’ve got a vision that guides you towards your dreams.

O = Openness

Are you afraid of changes or leaving your comfort zone? Then you’re not open. You need to be open to learn new things, try something new or welcome opportunity when it knocks at the door. Like I needed to learn everything about blogging. If I had stayed in my comfort zone, you wouldn’t be reading these words now.

I = Idea

Every business starts with an idea. Ideas come and go. You can’t force them to stay. But when you get an idea that doesn’t seem to disappear, go for it. Like I did with V.O.I.C.E. media and publishing. The idea of running an ebook translation service came to my mind while I was studying the blogosphere. And I’m giving this great idea a try. And so should you.

C = Confidence

You know what you can do and what not. You don’t need to know everything or do everything on your own. Know your strengths and weaknesses and make the best out of it. If you believe in yourself and in what you can do, then you’re confident and nothing should be able to stop you. We know that we can make it and that’s why we are here.

E = Empathy

Working with people isn’t always that easy. You need to listen to them carefully in order to serve them right. Can you “feel” their fears and / or hopes? If yes, then you’re blessed with empathy which makes it a lot easier for you to work with your prospects and clients.
